This 1998 Jaguar XK8 Convertible was re-bodied as a Concept 2005 Aston Martin Vanquish Cabriolet, and is a one-of-a-kind- SUPER CAR! What inspired the build at the time was that an Aston Martin Vanquish Cabriolet did not exist. A car that is considered to be one of the sleekest & sexiest, to be new and improved!! Starting with a 1998 Jaguar XK8 Convertible in excellent condition, body panel molds were made from a 2005 Aston Martin Vanquish, then all the body panels were fabricated in fiberglass. All of the panels were then replaced with our newly fabricated version, along with countless hours of fine tuning to achieve this spectacular car! Power to this super car is supplied by a 8 cyl-engine Factory XK8 with automatic transmission completely restored to purring perfection.
Original factory Aston Martin Vanquish parts include front grills, front marker and fog lights, hood grills, fender grills, front emblem, side fender blinker, rear marker lights, rear reflector lights, rear emblem, and Vanquish wheels. Vanquish style headlights and taillights. The body is molded from an original Vanquish and looks sleek and stylish with Palomino Leather interior with a burl wood trim and black power top. Power windows, power mirrors, power steering, power brakes, power seats.
