1963 Chevrolet Impala 409 Desirable 409 Equipped Car 409ci V8
Cylinder Engine 4-Speed Manual Transmission Power Steering $30,000+
Restoration MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present yet
another beautiful, classic Chevrolet Impala. Fitted with the
extremely rare combination of 409 cid V-8 and 4 speed manual
transmission, this is amongthe most iconicAmerican classic
collector's finds. Inside, the black seats both front and back, all
look great with no major signs of wear visible. The door panels are
upholstered in black which compliments the rest of the
interior.Inside the car you will also find a nicely finished dash
with correct trim bits all in good shape, as well as column mounted
tachometer, supplemental gauges, very nice carpet and headliner.
Interior also features anAM/FM radio with CD player installed in
glove compartment, and 3M window tinting. TheChevrolet Impalais a
full size automobile built by Chevrolet for model years 1958 to
1985. Deriving its name from the African antelope of the same name,
Chevrolet's most expensive passenger model through 1965 had become
the best-selling automobile in the United States. The 1963 Impala
featured rectilinear styling with an engine-turned aluminum rear
taillight panel. The Sport Sedan featured a new creased roof line.
A new "coved" instrument panel with simple indicator lights for hot
and cold engine conditions. An optional factory tachometer was
built into the dashboard, just above the steering wheel; it was
rarely ordered. The recipient of an older $30,000 cosmetic and
mechanical restoration, this 1963 Chevrolet Impala 2 door Sport
Coupe was taken back to a shell (but not frame off) prior to paint,
doors, hood, and trunk were removed and painted separately.
Finished in it's factory correct Ermine white with white sport top,
the exterior finishshows well with someimperfections visible upon
close inspection. Upon completion of paint and body, new side
chrome, emblems & bumpers installed for an extra level of
detail.This car is equipped with a strong 409 CI/340 HP V-8
engine topped with an Edelbrock carburetor and fitted with an
Edelbrock water pump that is mated to a 4 speed manual
transmission. Exhaust exits through stock exhaust manifolds with
new tail pipes & glass pack mufflers for that old school muscle car
sound. Note: the engine & transmission are from a 1964 Chevrolet
Impala, engine padstamp codes are: S243361 TO130QC (suffix code
"QC" denotes 409 for 1963 and 1964 Impala). Some recently completed
maintenance items include reseal of engine, transmission and rear
differential, new shocks/springs/front suspension, new body and
transmission mounts and addition of power steering. These 409
Impalas are becoming increasingly hard to find in such solid well
kept condition. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! Odometer currently reads6,874
miles, vehicle is sold as is and mileage exempt on a clean and
clear Missouri title. VIN: 31847J304984
