This 75 year old pickup is an eye catcher. The Grabber blue paint shines and sticks out in a crowd. The restoration was done in 2002 and there have only been 16,400 miles put on the truck since that time. I bought the truck 2 years ago and have had fun with it since. The entire truck is Henry Ford Steel. Zero glass in this truck. The engine is a crate 350 and due to the Camaro sub frame which was shortened in the middle, this engine sits snugly towards the back of the bay where it should be. Custom headers were made for a little better air flow and sound. The turbo 350 trans is well suited for this truck and it cruises down the road at 65+ with plenty of power left to have fun with. The wheels are (Imperial 5 Custom Grabber Blue) from Raceline and were custom made for this truck. They are 8.5x18 with +40 offset front and 10x20 with +20 offset rear. The low profile tires give the rim a very sleek and clean look. The wheels that came on the truck when I purchased it are the typical Cragar classic rims that you see on most of the hot rods. I still have the cragars and if the purchaser wants them we can discuss that in the sale. The lowered stance is not airbags. The truck is set up fairly well for the airbag upgrade however. There is a ladder bar shock/spring rear suspension which is all that is needed for a truck you are cruising around and not working out of. The tailgate was welded shut when they did the resto. The bed has a black astro carpet and the black snap on tonneau cover. The front brakes were upgraded last summer to Master Power disc's with power booster. The rear is still drum brakes. The parking lights and tail lights have all been upgraded to LED which also help the truck to stand out in a crowd. The chrome covered tail lights in the fender look amazing but due to the angle of the fender were a bit difficult to see during the day time so another LED strip was placed in the roll pan. The front headlight bezels were upgraded to chrome with the chrome eye lids to match. The original bezels will come with the purchase, they are grabber blue. There is a small crack in the driver’s side rear fender that I have a photo of and also one of the bars in the grill is broke which I also have a picture of. The interior was just upgraded from a grey tweed to the black and grey micro fiber in August. I wanted a more modern looking interior and had some custom led lights placed in the cab for interior lights when the interior was done. The seats are from a Cadillac CTS with the seatbelt in the seat. I wanted a shoulder strap seat belt and this was my way of getting a nice comfortable seat with shoulder strap without welding in new brackets to the cab. I had them put "FORD" with blue stitching in the headrest's to match the rest of the truck. The doors fit perfectly and latch with zero issues. The windows are tinted 5% blackout and roll up and down with ease. They don't stick and fall like most classic cars of this era. There is a Sony stereo CD player in the dash with two speakers in the front qtr panels but I have not been using it since there is no antennae. But that is an easy fix for the new buyer. Gauges in the dash are all white Sunpro gauges and look very clean against the blue dash. The gas tank sits in the bed of the truck along with the battery. It is much easier to fill the gas tank with it in the bed. If you have any questions or want more pic's please let me know. Thanks for looking.
