Numbers matching 1968 Camaro Z/28 RS for sale in the San Francisco Bay Area. This pristine example has undergone an exacting, documented frame off restoration. The original 302 block which retains its VIN stamp has been completely rebuilt.
The Muncie four speed transmission, though not believed to be original to the car (stampings were inconsistent on transmissions during this model year) has also been completely rebuilt. Both rebuilds are documented and all work was performed to the highest standards. Power is put to the wheels via the original 12 bolt :73 Positraction differential which is original to the car and was also rebuilt.
The interior of the car was completely refinished in original black vinyl and sports the deluxe package with centre console gauges.
Recent work includes a rebuilt and powder coated subframe which presents very nicely indeed. RS light covers function perfectly.
