Vehicle Description
Eugene Bob Gregorie's natural abilities for timeless design have
been duly recognized. While his stint at Ford may seem brief,
Gregorie was largely responsible for the practical but modern lines
of the Ford. Gregorie worked for Ford from 1935 to 1943 and
returned year later for two years; several of these models were
influenced by him and still highly regarded. Around 25 years ago
this convertible benefited from a repaint; and since then it has
been cosmetically updated with new brown upholstery and a tan new
convertible top. It is believed that the body has never been
separated from the frame and that it retains the original flathead
V-8 engine and the column shift manual transmission. Factory
options on this Ford include: power top, full fender skirts, bumper
mounted driving lights, dual exhaust, driver side spotlight,
factory AM radio and an electric clock.
