Vehicle Description
1979 Chevrolet Corvette Throughout time the Corvette has managed to
keep its own unique look that is different from anything else out
there. This is probably a big part of why these sports cars are so
popular. Some like them all, some just one generation but either
way pretty much everyone out there has a favorite. The version you
see here is a C3 which were being produced from 1968 up until 1982.
The car has undergone a mechanical restoration with cosmetic
repairs as needed resulting in a very nice looking and driving
classic. The car has a nice a finish and is coated in dark Black
paint which works with the body lines well creating a very clean
look. The front spoiler is nicely mounted in place and along with
the bumper guards is painted Black to match. Sport mirrors are in
place on both sides and are also painted Black. The car is pictured
without T-tops but does come with them. Aluminum wheels are in
place under all four corners with Yokohama tires. These cars were
originally shipped out with a 185hp motor but this classic has just
been fitted with a brand new 350V8 320hp crate engine
professionally built by Performance Unlimited who were actually
featured on the Two Guys Garage television show. It has been
dressed up with a few chrome add-ons but most importantly it runs
extremely well utilizing a MSD 6AL Ignition, MSD Pro Billet
distributor, Edelbrock 1406 600cfm carburetor, Edelbrock Performer
intake, 4 bolt main, a light cam, ceramic coated headers and all
new custom exhaust. It has a great sound and rolls down the road
well. In addition to getting a new crate motor all of the mechanics
were gone through with multiple components being replaced or
repaired as needed. Other new parts include the alternator,
starter, plugs/wires and the rear end was just rebuilt and changed
to 3:73 gears. Backing up the motor is a a new 700R4 transmission.
Other nice features contributing to how nicely it drives include
the Gymkhana suspension, new shocks, new bushings, power brakes,
power steering, cruise control and air conditioning. The car comes
with invoices for all the work done including the invoice for the
new motor. Within the past 500 miles the car has easily had $10,000
invested into it. The interior of the car is done in all Black and
has brand new carpeting. The upholstery is in good shape with dual
high back bucket seats sitting nicely in place. The original
console is there with the original style emergency brake and
shifter set up. All of the instruments and dash have been kept
mostly original except for the addition of the brand new Kenwood
stereo with bluetooth, Pandora radio, IHeartRadio, USB,
Iphone/Android compatibility, Aux port, and remote control. The
speakers were also replaced to insure they deliver a great sound.
The power windows and power locks still work properly with no
electrical issues throughout the car. This is one smooth vette that
is being offered up at a great price. Park this classic in your
garage for $20,750.00!
