Vehicle Description
You can have a seriously fast Mustang, a seriously rare Mustang, a seriously cool Mustang, or with this 2009 Ford Mustang P-51B by Roush, you can have it all.
This is #50 of an extremely limited run of 51 cars, so its always been treated with the care and respect a rare pony deserves. The Vapor Silver paint is pristine, and it is perfectly matched with the six-piece performance body kit that adds features such as the aggressive front fascia, massive hood scoop, and rear quarter window louvers. The three-piece rear spoiler is purposely a lighter shade of silver just for a subtle cool effect. As the name suggests, this car is a tribute to the P-51B Mustang WWII aircraft, so there are some nice touches such as the specially designed P-51B checkerboard badges, and the painted military green stripe on the hood. Yes, this is without a doubt aggressive, but it's even more powerful than the callouts on the front suggest (read on for more info.)
This one is specialty on the outside, and loaded on the inside. It comes with keyless entry, power windows, power locks, power steering, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, dual & side airbags, and ice-cold air conditioning. The Shaker 1000 AM/FM/CD stereo is so good that you can hear your tunes with all the windows down at illegal speeds. But all of that comes from the Mustang's premium catalog. Buying the P51B meant cool additions such as the Roush shift knob, white-faced gauges with boost pressure, and powered sport leather seats, with the custom embroidered suede inserts. There's even a bit of fun with the cigarette lighter now doubling as the "eject" button.
While this Mustang looks amazing inside and out, it is the full mechanical upgrade that will make you fall in lust. The 4.6-liter V8 has been supercharged and intercooled. Yes, they call it "Roushcharged" but we can forgive them for that because this goes much further than just bolting on extra horsepower. The whole package is set up to handle a massive power influx and includes new intake manifolds, cold air induction system, forged aluminum pistons, forged steel H-beam connecting rods, forged steel crankshaft, high-flow fuel injectors, dual electronic throttle body, aluminum flywheel, and a re-calibrated ECM. The hood might say 510 hp, but this one has seen dyno results of 550 hp and 541 lb-ft of torque. Of course, power is nothing without control. The previous owner installed a short-throw shifter for the five-speed manual transmission (a Roush unit also comes with the car) and a heavy-duty clutch. There has been a full Roush suspension upgrade that includes new front struts, rear shocks, springs, sway bars, and pinion snubbers. Stopping is easy through four-wheel disc brakes that feature Roush six-piston front Calipers with slotted rotors front and rear. It gets off the line exceptionally well thanks to a Roush wheel hop reduction kit, and grippy Cooper Zeon tires on 18-inch Roush black metallic wheels.
This Mustang has been a classic from day one, and you'll get to enjoy every part of it right down to the original owner's manual and window sticker. We have already seen tons of interest on this car in our showroom, call now!!
