1958 Willys Jeep Station Wagon
When you say Willys to a hotrodder most likely they are going to picture an early 40s street rod. Well Willys was also the model name assigned to vintage Jeeps produced from 46-65. These classics are very neat cars and have a following that you wouldn't believe. Just like Mustangs and Camaros there are car clubs out there dedicated to the Willys Jeep. The cool 1958 Willys Jeep Station Wagon you see here has a very nice look and runs very well. It was entirely restored with everything being gone through. The 2 door body is very solid and is coated in a nice Beige with White top. The bumpers have been painted Black and the body lines are all accented with nice stainless trim. The front end has that classic Jeep look but the grill is more pointed giving it a very tough appearance. The cowl is still in place and operates properly. All of the windows are in good condition with no scratches/dings and is covered with a slight tint. The hatchback rear utilizes two panels opening just below the rear windows. This allows you to open it completely or just the top if extra storage room is needed. Above all the truck was originally produced for its functionality. It may be an awesome looking classic today, but it still has that ability to perform like a work vehicle. If you have never owned a truck or something similar you will be amazed at how often they come in handy. The Willys is a 4x4 vehicle with a taller stance and rides on very nice steel wheels which have been painted a slightly darker Beige than the body.

Powering the Jeep down the road is a straight 6 226 Hurricane produced by Kaiser Continental. The motor runs very well and has no issues. It is all painted Grey and is topped with a nice Black circle air cleaner. Backing that up is the Borg Warner 3 speed manual transmission. Other components include electric ignition, mini high torque starter, Dana 44 axles (4.27 gears) and it has also been converted to 12 volt.

The interior is all very well done with all the metal panels painted to match the body. The fold up seats are topped in a nice Orange vinyl that ties in well with the wood grain bed. In the bed section you will also find the location of the matching spare wheel. The dash is all nicely painted and topped with the original style knobs/switches. The speedometer works properly and is mounted in an all in one gauge that displays speed, odometer, fuel, and temperature.
This is one cool classic that is sure to put a smile on your face. It is extremely fun to drive and gets a ton of attention when you take it out.
