Hello
We are selling our late Fathers Navy/Dark blue 1970 Chevrolet El
Camino. My father owned this car for many years. He had it semi
restored about seven years ago. The body is straight with no dents
or dings in it. The paint has scratches and scrapes in a some
areas. The passenger side front fender has a scratched area with
some paint peeling. There is a couple of small areas with some mild
surface rust that can easily be polished out. The two tail light
plastic pieces are missing. The passenger side mirror glass is
missing. The rims are American Eagle and are in decent shape. The
interior is in good shape with a bench seat covered in a sort of
suede navy/white material. The headliner is complete and great
shape. The instrument panel is in good shape but some of the
instruments don't work. The main ones work; speed, gas,
temperature. No radio included. The bed is in good shape with just
a couple of small surface rust areas. The engine is in decent
shape. Could use work. It starts rough but smooths out when warm.
My father only used it on occasion. It did sit around a good deal
in a closed garage. If you are looking to restore an El Camino to
your ideal dream then this is a perfect car. Straight body and
almost rust free. Won't need to fix a lot of stuff on this El
Camino to make it an awesome looking example of this classic body
style. Thanks for looking.
