In 1968 Ford re-designed the Mustang for the first time. Although it was not a radical change it was definitely noticeable. The car grew larger in all proportions giving the driver and passengers a little more room inside. Different options became available as well including bigger motors and special editions. One of those special editions was called the California Special. So what makes the California Special so special? Ford changed several features on the car including several features adopted from the Shelby Mustangs of the same period. These included different rear fenders, a different deck lid, side air scoops, different gas cap, special striping, a blacked-out grill, fog lights, and competition hood pins. This particular car also features a 302 c.i. V-8, automatic transmission, vinyl roof, and aftermarket wheels. It has been completely restored and is in excellent condition.Exterior: White // Engine size: 302 Ci. Automatic // Engine type: V-8 // Horsepower: 230 // Torque: N/A
