Vehicle Description
Undeniably one of the stars of the first "The Fast and the Furious"
film of 2001, the custom orange 1995 Toyota Supra made a return
appearance in the 2003 sequel "2 Fast 2 Furious". Only THIS TIME it
received a makeover... MIAMI STYLE!The original Supra was the
personal project of Picture Car Coordinator (and director of the
N.I.R.A. Import Drag Racing Series) Craig Lieberman. It arrived on
set for the first film in its original yellow paint scheme with a
yellow and blue interior. But producers were unable to convince the
owner of the very rare yellow Nissan Skyline to alter the paint of
his vehicle. Craig offered to repaint HIS! (Fans of the film will
notice that the Supra STILL retained the yellow and blue interior
in the film.Following the success of the first film, all but TWO of
the Supras were torn down, stripped of their massive APR rear
wings, distinctive vented hood, Bomex body kits and its signature
DAZZ/Racing Hart wheels. They were given new life with a TRD 3000
GT body kit, OZ Super Leggera III wheels with Toyo tires, Custom
see-through TRD hood, custom roll cage by EP Industries and a
safety plexiglass inner windshield and was reborn once again as the
"Slapjack Supra" driven by actor Michael Ealy.Exterior: Orange//
