Vehicle Description
Anybody remember the Disney movie 'Cars' or the movie Driving Miss
Daisy? That's right, this is the one, the same model. Hudson is in
the spotlight of several old movies because Hudson was simply put,
ahead of their time! This car is a real beauty. Though not
original, it has many of it's classic charm and easily turns heads.
This car has had much work done and could probably use a little
more if you're looking for more than daily driver quality. Here is
what has been done thus far: Undercoated the sub-frame Full body
work completed about 4 years ago (only two door skins were damaged
in the bottom and the metal was replaced) Full body paint including
the engine bay completed about 3years ago, not show quality but
very nice (took old engine out and painted the engine bay) Removed
all the trim from the lower body and covered holes to give the car
a cleaner look Painted dash all interior trim and steel wheels to
match car Reupholstered entire car to include: carpet, seats,
headliner, wind lace, door panels sun visors, arm rests, etc...
(needs cleaning now) Installed all new glass, except the rear back
windshield (both front windshield pieces and all 8 side glass
pieces) Installed all new rubber and felts all around the new glass
(which were painful to find, again except the back glass) Replace
all bad hardware to get all glass to work properly (new door
latches, some new handles, new interior handles and cranks) All new
door hinge bolts Repaired steering wheel, replace most dash
components and most minor hardware under dash All new 12V electric
(wiring, bulbs, etc..) from the headlights to the tail lights Left
wiring ready for A/C and radio, and added turn signal kit with led
signals on headlights Added a SBC V8-305 from the early 90's that
runs awesome with a 400th tranny that shifts smoothly Custom made a
new drive shaft and cross member and rebuilt the gear box, brakes
and radiator. Install new Edelbrock intake and Holley carburetor,
electric fuel pump, new MSD electronic distributor, K&M air
filter, wires, plugs, and much more!! Added Power brakes from a
1990's Camaro and a neutral safety switch so that it won't start
unless in Park Has new Chrome valve covers and aluminum oil pan,
both with new performance gaskets Chrome bumpers were re-plated
Lowered the car about 1" in the back and 2" in the front (looks
better and rides nice) Included is the tool to remove the drums,
arm rests, dome light, sun visors, ash trays and any other parts I
may find for it. The car is 95% complete and all the hard work is
done. It runs great and stops on a dime and it will cruise at 70
mph all day long. Here is a list of what it needs to be 100%
complete: Install arm rests, sun visors, dome light, a couple of
ash trays, horn button, dash Hudson emblems and radio cover plate
or original radio faceplate (ALL these items will come with the
car) Install new wiper kit (I took the old vacuum system out to put
electric wipers) Install new A/C system if desired, compressor and
electric are there ready to be used. I would also install a
radiator reservoir kit and replace the oil plug's gasket that leaks
from over tightening by the last guy that changed the oil. If you

happy to address any questions you might have.
