through Porsche Motorsport North America for use in the GT3 Cup
Challenge in Brazil. The program is similar to what Ferrari does
with its Challenge series: You pay a fee and the car arrives at the
track fully prepped by professional mechanics, full of fuel and
wearing fresh tires and brakes. The scale of the maintenance and
prep operation is staggering: It's in line with a NASCAR or top

United States and shipped to Brazil under a temporary use permit,
and when the time expires the cars had to come back here to avoid
massive importation fees. They also had to come back in nearly the
condition in which they went down to the point that the cars needed
to be repainted in white. They did a much better job than they
needed, as well--proper bodywork was done to smooth the panels and
the paint is very glossy. This car has its proper Porsche carbon
fiber doors and decklid as well as a high quality fiberglass hood
and fender set. You could run it as-is or apply your own graphics
with very little prep work. Inside it's all business from the
digital dash to the fire suppression system to the sequential gear
shifter. This car is also equipped with the optional auto-blipper
package for smoother downshifts. Under the rear lid is a great
running 3.6 liter that put down 410 horsepower on a Mustang dyno.
This was done after the car's last race, along with the compression
and leakdown tests that are shown in the pictures. There are only
20 hours on this overhaul with 40+ to go until it's recommended
again. The gearbox is even fresher with only 8.5 hours since its
last rebuild. BBS wheels are at all four corners as well as rebuilt
Sachs racing shocks (complete with dyno charts.) If you're ready to
