1954 Ford Crestline Skyliner "Glass-Top"
If you were in high school in the late 50's early 60's this car would be right in place in student parking. With its chrome removed from hood and decklid, shaved door handles (when I bought the car 19 years ago, the entry was accessed through a vent window -I installed remote openers). Other period touches included a drenched antenna and dummy spots. As a badge of honor, the "Worked" areas were intentionally left in primer. To complete the look the car is lowered all around 4", stock taillight lens were replaced with 55 Olds lens.
1954 was the 1st year of the Y-block V8 displaying 239 cid. The Glass-Top has been updated to a later 312 cid V8. The original Ford-a-Matic trans has been "strengthened" and shifts smoothly. Relive your youth and have fun doing it for only $21,800.
