Fully restored Studebaker Dictator 1937. Made into Hot-rod, bigger wheels R15, lowered roof and equally smaller windows. Retains original parts, engine. Interior has been redone. Brand new passenger seats made out of leather.
Car has USA title and documents. These old Studebakers are becoming very collectible as they are seldom seen and with a good historical background dating back to the late 1800s as wagon builders and entering automobile building in 1902, they hold a special place in American Automotive History.
In 1927, Studebaker introduced 'Dictator', saying the cars would 'dictate the standard' for their class. This was the last year Studebaker marketed the Dictator model - it was no longer politically correct. For 1938, the model became the Commander.
