series and Convertible. Now offered in a 100 series 2 and 4 door

door sedan, 4 door station wagon and the Sport Hardtop Coupe -
available with the SS option. 10,576 Chevy II Nova's were produced
with the Super Sport "SS" option in 1964."

For sale by owner is this beautiful '64 Nova . At first glance, it
appears to be a very nice looking basic Nova, but a closer look
reveals an awesome custom street machine. This is not your run of
the mill grocery getter, you really have to see & hear it! Please
let all the pictures load (there are over 140) to see the beautiful
condition of this classic Chevy. According to the owner, this car
started life in Arizona, as a standard Nova 2 door sedan with a 6
cylinder engine and was then transformed to the car you see here.
Originally built to be a show car, the restoration was completed
in the late 90's. The current owner purchased the car in 2002 and
has since completed some major mechanical upgrades in 2014. The
original engine is long gone and has been replaced (in 2014) with a
355/425 HP from Tri-Star Performance mated with a Turbo 350
automatic transmission. The suspension was upgraded to a Classic
Performance Products mini sub frame kit and it has 40 series
Flowmaster mufflers with 2/12 " exhaust. For all the car guys out
there, what follows are some of the details.
