I purchased the vehicle from Herb on Fir Island (Wash) September 2007 with 41,342 miles on the odometer, Herb tells me that it originally was sold new in San Jose, California to a family in Gilroy, Ca. One family member sold to to another family member. In 2003 Herb purchased the vehicle from a broker representing the family estate. It was on of 17 vehicles in the estate. The car was in process of restoration for 3 years prior to Herb's buying it. The odometer at that time showed approximately 41,000 miles. At this time the odometer reads 44,196.
We acquired another classic vehicle and it is time to find a new home for the Bel Air.
It has been stored in my heated "Man Cave" since 2007 and driven only in blue bird weather.
