Vehicle Description
This is a frame off total restoration of a numbers matching car. It was completed in 2010 and has been driven 3200 miles since the work. I am the second owner, and purchased it from the original owner identified on the Pro-tecto-Plate. The engine is the original 327/300 L-74 that has been bored out .040". I have an original 1965 Corvette intake installed with a new Holley 570 CFM carb. Heads are the original double hump and were re-done with updated valves, roller-tip rockers, and updated the ignition to an MSD. The ceramic coated headers are coupled to a dual 2.5 inch exhaust. I have elected to not install the factory A/C as there is no available bracketry to complete.
The transmission is a M-21 that was completely rebuilt with new bearings, syncros, and gears.
Interior is new, with the door panels and rears correct, and the seat upholstery is based on original.
The exterior is perfect, with all sheet metal except the lower rear quarters being original. All emblems are new, and side glass is original. Wheels are Foose 18" on the rear and 17" on the front. The original bumpers have been rechromed and are as new.
I have retained every original part and piece that came on the vehicle, including door panels, ignition, factory air with the Harrison compressor, all trim and bright work. The original wheels and hubcaps are complete. The H-78 bias ply tires still mounted. I have all receipts of the work completed and parts installed. This is a true beauty, and I have won numerous Best of Show and Best Paint awards.I need another project so,
