Supreme among the chrome monsters of the 1950's was the 1958 Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. Its ferocity was suggested by its styling, including the shark like fins pointing to the back of the car. Under its hood remained the 365 ci engine that, with the three two barrel carburetors, produced 335 horsepower. The interior was on par with any luxury car of the era. It had the finest materials and the lengthy list of options included every comfort and convenience Cadillac could conceive including air conditioning. In 1958 the Eldorado went from the single headlight of 1957 to two headlights and both model years had an autotronic dimmer. Slightly heavier, the 1958 was over 5,000 pounds with a length of 18 1/2 feet. This Cadillac is a classic Black on Black which looks stunning.
