This limited edition 1988 Silver Anniversary model Avanti is number 12 of 27. It has the original pearl white exterior paint with the rare factory installed lipstick red leather interior and is equipped with power steering, power brakes, air, power seats and power door locks. Cruise control, tilt wheel New Auto Meter “Z” series gauges. New plush red carpeting has been added to compliment the interior.
Engine compartment has been reworked moving the battery to the trunk, filling many unnecessary holes, and rerouting some of the electrical wiring.
This Avanti has rack and pinion steering with Wilwood disc brakes in the front while retaining the rear drums.
The power train consists of a highly polished balanced and ported 350 GM engine with a Paxton supercharger, Edelbrock 750 carburetor, MSD ignition system and Hedman Hedders, all coupled to a modified 700R4 automatic transmission. Approximately 7800 miles on this unit.
