2007 Ford Mustang - 40th Anniversary Shelby GT 500 Super Snake
You have just stumbled across one of the toughest modern muscle
cars ever created. Chevrolet and Dodge get some credit for their
modern muscle cars but Ford was first to create a true tribute to
the 60s. These Mustangs are incredibly popular and this one is more
than just the average driver you see running around. The car was
purchased in 2007 as a GT500 from the factory and was then sent to
Shelby America where it was upgraded and became a 40th anniversary
Shelby edition. If that wasn't enough the car was then taken a step
further when it received Super Snake power which consisted of a
high performance Roush Ford Racing Supercharger. Plus is got the
$20,000 Super Snake hood added. The car easily cranks out 725
horsepower and is a true performance machine. The 5.4L Supercharged
V8 combined with a Tremec 6 speed makes it a very tough competitor
on the street.
This is #27 making it the second ever sold to the public. You may
think our math is wrong but the first 25 cars were actually
reserved for Carroll Shelby and the Shelby family. With only 6,500
miles the car is extremely well cared for and could easily be a
museum candidate later in its life. The exterior is coated in a
very clean Black with Silver stripes and has the appropriate GT500
accents down the side. It has an extremely tough stance and under
all four corners are special edition Carroll Shelby wheels that
