This is an absolutely MINT real deal matching numbers 429ci Cobra
Jet Ram Air engine with factory HURST 4speed close ratio shifter,
3.25 Traction Lok differential and much more. The car was sold by
Garnsey & Wheeler Co. (Dealer# 76A447) of Greeley Colorado
11/12/1969 and we have full documentation to prove it. Not just a
Marti Report but a personal letter from the President of this
dealership to its second owner in November of 1990. A third letter
from the FORD MOTOR COMPANY on January 6th, 2005 documents the
third and final owner of this very special car. Documentation also
includes the original owners manual, Ford window sticker, dealer
invoice, build sheet, two sets of original keys plus spares, ALL in
perfect condition. There are quite a few fun items and articles as
well. This car was babied throughout its entire life and it clearly
shows.
After short review of the photos on this car, you will notice
something very different, very special. This is clearly a muscle
monster in its day. A 429ci 370hp Cobra Jet Ram Air Hurst 4speed
car. All the muscle in the world at that time yet the owner chose
to finish it with a Medium Ginger Broadcloth bench seat. Whoa, very
different for sure. Surely leather buckets were available but this
guy chose to do it his way and today we say Good for Him! It looks
outrageously cool, very different and its still a 429ci Cobra Jet
with a factory 4speed.
The photos will show the condition of this beautiful car. paint is
flawless as is all chrome and trim. All body panels are original as
shown by the original stampings on each. This includes the hood and
trunk. They are all perfectly straight . There is NO rust
period!.
The interior is immaculate. No seat tares, dash cracks and
everything works as it should including all gauges and the left to
right dash tach. Other factory options include, power steering and
power brakes with front disc, SportsRoof, competition suspension
and more.
The engine is a work of art and beautifully detailed. She starts,
runs, drives and stops perfectly and needs nothing.
