Full disclosure items;
This is a 46 year old vehicle, please respect the fact it isn’t a “showroom vehicle Additionally, you are welcome to come and view the car in person. It has been in this family for a long time and want to be sure you are getting what you wish. ”. I’ll do my best to set the expectation(s) below.
Paint: Does have a couple of minor blemishes on paint but can be color sanded and buffed. There is 1 spot on the drivers rear quarter panel (size of a US dime) that paint popped off when pulling a ding. I just covered it with a “bullet hole” for the car shows. Funny part, people actually get a kick out of it. Last show it was in was in 2013 and won Best in Class.
Interior: Solid as a rock. Lower A/C valance needs to be screwed in better (in my opinion).
Gauges / Electronics: Working; Speedo, Hood Tach, odometer. There are a couple items I wasn’t able to repair; clock stopped about 4 months ago, fuel gauge needle dropped out of sight (love when I’m with my kids and didn’t have gas), idiot light (generator) has always come on and off..not a clue. Probably something simple. Odometer is currently at 11,0XX something and had to be replaced during restoration, so the vehicle is being sold as XXX,XXX miles. Could probably go through my paperwork to help determine the best guess at it’s “chassis miles”. I’ve just used 1,990 ..to present for the number of miles put on the car since it was fully restored. Keeps it simple for me. So, 9,100 miles in the last 24 years (379 miles per year).
Tires: These are show tires (RedLine) bias ply’s. I personally hate the way they drive but the car is only driven 3-4 times per year for shows and works for its purpose. Plenty of road left for them and there are no cracks etc.
Reason for selling: Great question.. 3 daughters that will begin college starting 2015…through 2022. Enough said. Time for a new home.
Included with sale: Original Quadrajet Carb, PHS Documentation, Reprint of Window Sticker, and anything else I come across.
I hope this information has been helpful in your decision. If there are other questions, I’ll do my best to answer them.
