It doesn’t get any classier than this at a great price! This BMW 325 E30 2 door sedan is a head turner in sleek black and in great condition! This vintage model has been lovingly taken care of by its current owner and has been garaged for the last seven years. It has had some great upgrades and aftermarket additions to really enhance it. In 2007 it was given a beautiful new paint job to restore it to its original glory (and because there were several small fender dents over the wheels from the previous owner’s carelessness that needed fixed!)
The 2.7 liter inline 6 cylinder engine is zippy with 126 horsepower and 170 foot-lbs. of torque. The 5 speed manual transmission makes this a fun car to drive. The original engine was swapped out by the previous owner for a lower mileage engine, however the odometer does not reflect this lower mileage. The mileage today is approximately 180,000. But as they say you’re only as old as you feel and this BMW has many more miles to go! It is still very quick to accelerate and very responsive in its handling, a testament to its fine German engineering. The spark plugs are new and the engine runs great!
A sporty front end spoiler has been added (although no fog lights have been installed yet) as well as a low profile trunk spoiler. New hood and trunk BMW decals were put on to replace the fading originals.
The original coke bottle rims and tires have been replaced with 17” aluminum alloy rims and low profile “Cooper Zeon ZPT” tires which cost about $1000 for the set. The tire rims do need to be refinished as road salt got under the clear coat on the rims and discolored them. They look really sharp on this BMW though. The original rims and tires will be included in the sale price, should you choose to have the more vintage look.
The interior is in excellent condition and is the original tan vinyl seats with no rips or tears. The 2 way sunroof slides open or pops up in the back and has its own wind guard. The dashboard has thin cracks in several places from exposure to cold temperatures, which is common with these model cars. A beautiful aftermarket rosewood gear shift knob and leather shifter boot have been installed along with an aftermarket dual cup holder along the center console. A JVC flip front single CD player with Pioneer speakers and remote control was installed. (An approximately $500+ system) New floor mats have been put in.
Power windows and locks all work and the original jack set, trunk tool kit, owner’s manuals, and glove compartment flashlight are all intact and included. There is one small stone chip in the windshield.
This vehicle has been garaged and driven less than 5000 miles a year since 2007. The following maintenance has been done on this vehicle:
Timing belt was changed approximately 30,000 miles ago
New clutch- both master and slave cylinders
New crank position sensor
New thermostat
New brake lines
New wiper blades
New Duralast battery
Regular oil changes and routine maintenance
The only rust on this BMW are some tiny spots between the front grill and bumper and 2 dime-sized spots on the sunroof. This car is insured through a vintage policy from Taylor Insurance, who are notoriously particular about the condition of the cars they will insure. If you want a great vintage driving experience for a reasonable cost, this is the car for you!
Serious inquiries only please. $8,000 or Best Offer.
