Except for the cam and exhaust, I still possess all removed original equipment, including fender guards and body/door moldings. I also have a Dakota sales booklet, and the original window sticker.
The truck appraised in 2010 for $16,500. My insurance company has increased the actual value of the truck about $1000 every two years since then without any prompting from me, or increasing my rate. For the 2015-16 year, the truck is now insurance valued at $19,500.
I am the original owner. The truck was ordered in September '95, and I took delivery in October. It is still running the original brake shoes and pads from the factory.
The truck is like new, in excellent condition, ready to show. It has the trophies to prove it.
