1962 Thunderbird

Very Nice Driver!
"The third generation Thunderbird is the successor to the 1950's
'Square-bird.' The chassis remained very similar to prior models,
but was reworked slightly for a smoother ride and better handling.
An all-new body-shell featured a severely pointed front 'prow,'
modest fins above huge renditions of Ford's round tail-lights, and
softer roof contours on the hardtops. For its time, the car offered
exceptional soundproofing and overall quality. Ford's burly 390 V-8
was the only engine offered for 1961, but a higher output 'M'
engine was offered for 1962-1963."
