"Midyear 1968 Dodge added a Super Bee option, based on the Coronet 440 pillared coupe. The Super Bee came standard with a 383 cubic-inch V8 delivering 335 horsepower. They had a four-speed transmission with Hurst 'Competition Plus' floor shifter, dual exhaust, bench seat, heavy-duty suspension, power bulge hood, and bumblebee striping."

For sale by owner is this very rare, genuine 1968 Dodge Super Bee that is a beautiful combination of original, with extensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration over the years and completed in 2008.� Please let all the pictures load (there are over 120) to see the beautiful condition of the Classic Dodge muscle car. The odometer shows 64,801 miles and is believed to be correct (base upon our inspection, we would agree), but� it is being sold as mileage exempt because of the age. This car started life as a standard Super Bee from Arizona with a 383 engine and 3 speed automatic transmission. The original engine has been rebuilt and the owner removed the automatic trans and replaced it with a correct 1968 factory 4-speed.� It has power steering and front disc brakes (added), Rounding out the package are some great looking Dodge rally wheels with BF Goodrich radial T/A tires.� It had a professional repaint in the original factory Red with a new vinyl top installed at the same time to replicate a car he purchased new in 1968.� The interior appears original and is in excellent condition.
