1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Without a doubt one of the most popular cars of the late 70's to early 80s is the classic Pontiac Firebird. The original Firebird emblem still graces the front nose and has the Red/Black color combo to match the rest of the car. The car has the correct shaker hood scoop, front air dam, brake scoops and rear air spoiler all cleanly mounted in place. All of the glass is in good condition and the slight tint gives it a nice look. It sits on Pontiac Rally wheels which are fitted with PMD center caps and BF Goodrich Radial tires. A built up 400 cubic inch motor gets the car rolling and delivers plenty of power. With the restoration the engine was entirely rebuilt with all new performance components. Headers are in place on both sides which along with the dual exhaust give the car a very good sound. Paired with the motor is a Turbo 350 automatic transmission that shifts with ease. Power assisted front disc brakes are in place as is power steering making it really comfortable to drive. A positrac rear end, Saf-T-Track differential and front/rear stabilizer bars round out the drivetrain and suspension. The interior of the car is done in all Black and is stock for a 1976 Firebird. You will find all original components were used inside for that factory appearance. A tilt column sits in front of the driver and is topped with a Firebird Formula steering wheel. All of the rally gauges are working including the clock and tachometer. Also on the dash you will find the original AM/FM/Cassette player and AC system which blows cold.
