Vehicle Description
This is a driver quality suicide door convertible. It runs, stops, drives well. It floats down the interstate, as you can imagine. The heat works well. The a/c needs to be converted to 134. Newer white walls. All 6 power windows work. The rear window droppers work. The convertible top works as it should, thanks John Cashman of convertiblelincolns.com. He went thru the power windows and convertible top about 6 years ago. He even fixed all the cigarette lighters. I have the receipt for this work along with others for work done to the car over the years. I have owned it for about the last 14 years. The paint is pretty good. The leather is not, as you can hopefully tell from the pictures. But, again, this is a driver, not a show car. The cream convertible top does have a 1-inch split/tear on the driver's side just below the rear window. The car did have rust at the doglegs and probably along the bottom of the trunk lid. This was repaired before I bought the car. The quality is moderate. The chrome exhaust extensions are obviously not factory. The mufflers (or resonators) at the back of the car are not in place. This gives the car a slight growl/rumble. It is not loud or offensive, but not whisper quiet the way it should be. I bought the car this way and have not changed it. The car has a power 6-way bench seat that works and an am/fm radio that does not. The power antennae does work at least somewhat-- I've never lowered it all the way for fear it would not go up again. I did have my mechanic go thru all of the turn signal, headlights, tail lights etc to make sure they all work.
