Vehicle Description

1962 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Like the look of a fresh restoration but don't want to invest the time, money, and most of all STRESS that comes with it? Well here is your chance to grab a just completed rotisserie restoration that resulted in one of the cleanest 1962 Impalas ever produced. This car is in beautiful condition now that it has been completely deconstructed and then rebuilt with all new or rebuilt components. From front to rear the fit and finish is immaculate making this car the one to beat when you are talking Impalas. All of the body panels are original with no added bondo or evidence of extensive rust repair. With the restoration all new floors were put in eliminating any future problems that could come with a 50 year old undercarriage. The car is painted a Black Cherry metallic that really pops out in the sun and suits this car nicely. This combined with the mirror like finish on the chrome and stainless creates an awe inspiring classic that always stands out in the crowd. We can't say enough how clean this car looks and it really does have that freshly built appearance you only get after many thousands of hours of detailed resto work. All of the original style Impala and Chevrolet badges are in place and have just as new of a look as the rest of the car. The glass is all in good condition and with a slight tint works with the Black Cherry paint nicely. The car has a great stance and the Cragar SS wheels were the perfect choice to accentuate the tough muscle car appearance. With the rebuild everything on the car was gone through including the original drive train. Powered by the numbers matching 327V8 this car has no problem cruising down the road. It starts up easily and settles into a nice smooth idle. The look under the hood is just as nice as the body with all of the inner fenders painted to match. After market Edelbrock valve covers were added along with a chrome circle air cleaner to add a bit of shine to the stock appearance. A power brake booster is in place to assist the front disc brakes and with power steering added as well this classic has an very updated feel when driving it. The 700R4 transmission backs the V8 up nicely and shifts very well with no issues sending power back to the 3:73 rear gears. The interior is complete in Black and all the upholstery is brand new. Since completion great care was taken to maintain that perfect appearance so even in our pictures you will see paper on the floor boards, etc to protect the carpeting. The dash received a fresh coat of paint and extra panels were tied in to house the Classic Air AC vents. All of the original style switches and knobs are in place and all have a clean finish. A stock speedometer was utilized but after market gauges were set into the stock trim piece that overlays it. A polished Ididit tilt steering column was put into place and is topped with an aftermarket billet steering wheel. An updated AM/FM/CD player was installed and provides a great sound through the added speakers. A B&M T handle shifter sits between the seats and utilizes a ratchet style system to give you the feel of a manual transmission should you want to shift through the gears yourself. Looking through this car you will see the finish is evident of the quality work that was put into its construction. No corners were cut and only the best components were used to create this top of the line Impala show car. Get the car for a fraction of the build cost at $49,900.00! NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $43,500.00!
