The Spartan II was manufactured by the Spartan Motorcar Co. in San Marcos,
California in 1992. The car was designed by R.E. Sparks, who built autos for such television shows as Flamingo Road and Dallas. This neoclassic car sold for $65,000.
new. Several celebrities such as Joan Collins, Eddie Murphy and boxing champion
Larry Holmes have all owned Spartans.
The construction of the Spartan II centers around the superior engineering and
performance abilities of the Nissan 300 ZX 6 cylinder engine with automatic transmission. It also uses the doors and chassis of the Nissan 300 ZX and a fiberglass
body. All service needs can be taken care of at any Nissan Dealer nationwide.
This car is white with tan leather interior. The console and door interior’s are black
with simulated wood trim. It is a two door coupe with a small rear seat. It is is equipped with a T-top, digital dash, cruise control, power windows and brakes, chrome bumper and wheels.
This car was the salesman’s own personal vehicle and was kept in pristine condition.
I am the second owner having purchased the car in 1995 with 15,000 miles. I have always kept the car garaged and today it has 18,984 miles.
