Vehicle Description
1965 Plymouth Belvedere- HEMI
The Belvedere may not be the first muscle car that pops into your
head but one ride in this one will change that pretty quickly. Not
only does this car have one of the toughest looks out there but it
has the drivetrain to back it up. Mopar fanatics rejoice because
this unique classic is powered by a 426 hemi motor that runs
extremely well. The car has undergone a complete rotisserie
restoration that took 4 years just to complete. We all know
restorations can completely transform a vehicle but it should ease
your mind to know that even prior to the restoration this thing was
solid. The car only had 47,752 original miles on it prior to the
build and has only racked up 26 since. It is a 2 owner car and has
been well cared for since new. The 2 door post body is entirely
rust free and looks perfectly coated in a clean White finish which
is the original color. The body panels are all original and in
great condition. All of the glass is brand new and all of the
chrome looking great. It has all of the correct trim pieces and
emblems which are all cleanly mounted in place and all of the
stainless is original.
One look at the motor has most Mopar fans drooling over this car.
The 426 Hemi was installed during the restoration and with a Mopar
performance cross ram has a really cool nostalgic look. It was all
professionally built with no corners cut anywhere. The heads were
prepped by Ray Barton and topping the cross ram is the two 600cfm
carburetors. The brackets hoses, wirings, mounts, pulleys,
EVERYTHING is nicely done. It really has that clean professional
look and shows how meticulous the restoration process was.
The interior of the car is done in blue and has an all original
look except for a few added features. These include the aftermarket
Billet steering wheel, B&M quicksilver shifter and added gauge
pod. Bench seats are found in front and rear and both are
adjustable. All of the upholstery looks good and has a very fresh
look. NOS parts were used so it is as close to original as
possible.
This is a beautifully done car that needs to find its way to a
collection or museum somewhere. We can't express how nice this car
truly is and the current owner guarantees it is as nice as
advertised.
