This car was fully restored professionally over 10 years ago. New, reproduction floors were installed as was both rear quarter panels. It's all held up incredibly well. The Marina Blue paint has some issues. A chip on the left rear 1/4 panel and some inferior priming and paint laying on the front portion of the right door (see pics). I'm positive a professional could easily blend that with today's photo match technology. A few of the other known issues are a parasitic drain on the battery when left overnight (current owner disconnects battery when not in use.). The rear main seal seeps oil. The speedometer just recently stopped working. Gas tank vent tube leaks fuel only when tank is filled to the top. Deck lid has improper fitment and there is a water leak at the left front cowl into drivers floor in heavy rain. As for recent positives..... The rear differential and transmission have been fully rebuilt as well as a recent water pump replacement. The engine was said by a previous owner to have been fully rebuilt but we don't hold any documentation to prove it. There are zero odd noises or smoke. A beautifully running car.
A very nice driver. Turn the key and go. Nothing mentioned above as to issues deter from the use of the car in general. I don't expect the next owner will even concern themselves with a majority of it. We've priced the car accordingly and then some. Please don't come to me with lower offers as I know you know this car is a fantastic opportunity. As of this writing, the lowest priced one on the web! With a little attention, you can increase the value in no time.
