GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this charming 1959 Volkswagen
Beetle for your consideration. This Beetle comes finished in an
eye-catching Blue Metallic exterior over a classic Beige interior.
Powering this iconic Volkswagen is an air-cooled 1600cc Flat 4
engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. This Beetle is
believed to have been fully restored within recent years and
features some great details such as; Semaphores, a luggage rack,
chrome front and rear bumpers, crank windows, a full-size spare
tire, and much more. The Semaphores are a particularly unique
feature, operating through an electromagnetic solenoid inside the
B-pillar that extends a small illuminated signaling arm outward
from the body when the turn signal is activated. Drive this one out
of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere
in the United States! Don't hesitate to call us with any questions

The Volkswagen Beetle is one of the most recognizable and
influential automobiles in automotive history. Originally developed
in Germany in the 1930s, the Beetle entered widespread production
after World War II and quickly became known around the world for
its distinctive styling, simple engineering, and dependable
air-cooled engine. By 1959, the Beetle had continued to evolve with
improvements in comfort, styling, and mechanical features while
maintaining the unmistakable rounded shape that made it famous. The
1959 model year is especially appealing to enthusiasts for its
vintage character and classic details, including the traditional
semaphore turn signals that were gradually replaced by conventional
flashing indicators as automotive safety standards and designs
evolved. Today, early Beetles remain highly collectible and are
appreciated for their timeless design, approachable mechanical
layout, and important place in automotive history.
