OVERVIEW
Model: 1967 Triumph TR4A
VIN: CTC73238
Status: Comprehensive Restoration Project
VIN DECODE
The "CTC" commission number prefix officially designates this
chassis as a Triumph TR4A factory-equipped with the highly
desirable Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). The trailing digits
(73238) represent its specific sequential production build.
PROJECT STATUS & EXTERIOR
This TR4A is offered as a highly complete restoration project for
the dedicated British motoring enthusiast.
The exterior is currently finished in a vibrant metallic green.
The body retains its classic lines, complete front grille,
headlights, and bright chrome front and rear bumpers.
The convertible top frame is attached and features a present,
undamaged top canvas.
ENGINE & MECHANICALS
Features the TR4A's signature 2138cc (2.1-liter) inline-4 cylinder
engine setup.
The bare engine block, currently seated in the engine bay alongside
the radiator, has already been fitted with brand-new pistons to
jumpstart the mechanical rebuild.
The trunk area displays surface rust and aging typical of an
unrestored chassis of this vintage, with the fuel tank still
positioned in the rear.
