This 2022 Ford Bronco Base combines the compact proportions of the
desirable two-door body with a capable collection of off-road
upgrades. Finished in Shadow Black, it retains its factory gray
molded-in-color removable hardtop and has been fitted with
equipment that gives it a much more aggressive stance and
trail-ready appearance.
Power comes from Ford's 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged
four-cylinder engine paired with the seven-speed manual
transmission, including its dedicated crawler gear. Four-wheel
drive, 4.46 front and rear axle gearing, hill-start assist, and the
Bronco's removable roof and doors make this a versatile platform
for both recreational trail use and everyday driving.
The factory 16-inch steel wheels and original-size tires have been
replaced by 16-inch Fuel Off-Road wheels wrapped in LT315/75R16
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires, measuring approximately 35
inches tall. A matching full-size wheel and tire are mounted at the
rear. The Bronco also appears to have been lifted or leveled to
accommodate the larger tire package, although the suspension
manufacturer and exact lift height have not been confirmed.
Additional exterior upgrades include Go Rhino front and rear
bumpers, side steps or rock rails, a roof-mounted dual-row LED
light bar, and auxiliary LED lighting integrated into the rear
bumper. The front bumper carries a Badland APEX 12,000-pound winch
equipped with synthetic line, an aluminum hawse fairlead, recovery
hook, and pull strap.
Inside, the cabin retains its durable gray and black cloth seating,
modern digital instrumentation, air conditioning, cruise control,
push-button start, power windows, and remote keyless entry. The
SYNC 4 infotainment system provides an eight-inch touchscreen,
Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a
six-speaker audio system. The two-door layout also offers folding
rear seats and useful rear cargo space.
This Bronco presents as a thoughtfully upgraded manual-transmission
two-door with the right visual and functional additions for an
owner seeking a distinctive, capable, and modern 4x4.
