Melanson Motors is proud to offer this wildly rare, very special
2011 Chevrolet Camaro SLP ZL1 Convertible! In 2011 Chevrolet and
Street Legal Performance (SLP) set out to pay tribute to the 1969
Camaro ZL1 with an aluminum block 427. They dreamt up the 2011
Camaro ZL1 special edition. The wildest and rarest 5th generation
Camaro ever! The initial target was to build 69 cars, just like the
original 1969 ZL1. However, the SLP conversion cost was $80,000 ON
TOP of the cost of a new 2011 Camaro SS. These cars were upward
$110,000 in completion. The large cost affected order numbers and
only 32 cars ended up being built. Of those 32, far fewer
convertibles were produced than coupes. This is car #25 and is
documented by an SLP Certificate of Authenticity. The car also has
both original window stickers. The 2011 SLP ZL1 Camaro was so
special it is difficult to mention every upgrade and detail about
the car. The SLP window sticker provides a complete list of the
options installed by SLP. Most notably, a supercharged 427 engine
producing 750hp, SLP forged 20" wheels with massive 16" Brembo six
piston brakes, a full carbon fiber hood, SLP adjustable coilovers
and sway bars, and SLP Pearl leather interior. This Camaro has
covered just 16,000 kilometers since new! It has a clean Carfax and
has been registered in Alberta and Ontario, Canada.
An excellent opportunity to own the rarest, and most extreme fifth
generation Camaro model produced! You will be hard pressed to find
another one!
