INTRODUCTION: Not just another Pro Touring Chevelle! The striking
colors, aggressive stance, and incredible wheels make this one
stand out from the crowd. With just a few hundred miles since a
complete body-off-frame Pro Touring build, it's loaded with
high-performance upgrades, modern comforts, and show quality
details throughout!
EXTERIOR: Absolutely stunning! This Chevelle has a sinister, custom
look that demands attention. The body has been completely smoothed
out, eliminating the emblems, antenna, and vinyl top for a clean,
uncluttered appearance. A steel cowl induction hood adds just the
right amount of muscle. The body is laser straight, smooth from the
rockers to the roof, with panels that fit square and flush. It's
finished in a deep, jet-black paint without any metallic, polished
to a slick high gloss finish. Black is the most unforgiving color,
and this one wears it beautifully! All the stainless and chrome
trim has been restored or replaced, and the smoked glass adds to
its aggressive appearance. All the weatherstrips have been replaced
as well. It's rolling on an incredible set of American Racing VF
wheels that started at $1,000 apiece! They're staggered 18 inches
in front and 20 inches in back, giving this Chevelle the perfect
stance. They're wrapped in premium Pirelli P Zero performance

INTERIOR: Now this is really outstanding! A complete custom TMI
interior finished in a striking Chevy Orange and black combination
that really sets this Chevelle apart from the crowd, and in a very
good way! Up front are TMI Sport bucket seats with reclining backs
and headrests. The rear seat is upholstered to match, and the same
custom pattern carries over to the molded door panels for a
beautifully coordinated look. Fresh carpet covers the floor,
protected by embroidered Chevelle mats. A reproduction center
console retains the classic appearance, while the shift indicator
has been updated to accommodate the overdrive transmission. In
front of me, the entire dash is new, including the dash pad,
instrument panel, and an upgraded set of gauges with a clock. It
also features Vintage Air with modern electric slide controls and a
retro style stereo powering kick panel speakers and 6x9s in back.
There's even a microphone for hands free calling! A custom steering
wheel is mounted on a tilt column, and the window cranks and
handles are new. The headliner, visors, and rearview mirror have
all been replaced. It also has a complete set of reproduction GM
seat belts, upgraded LED lighting, and a modern wiring system with
convenient blade style fuses. Everything has been thoughtfully
updated while maintaining that classic muscle car personality.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is a modern 6.2-liter LS3 V8
pumping out at least 550 horsepower! It's equipped with 821
aluminum heads, a Holley mid-rise intake, Holley throttle body,
Terminator X electronic fuel injection system and stainless long
tube headers. Not only does it make serious power, but it's
beautifully dressed up too! The custom coil covers resemble old
school big block valve covers, giving it that classic muscle car
look. Up front is an upgraded serpentine belt system with modern
air conditioning, a high-output alternator, aluminum water pump,
and modern power steering. A sharp looking cold air intake feeds
the engine, while a large aluminum radiator with dual electric fans
and a matching overflow bottle keeps things cool. Stopping power is
enhanced with a Hydro-Boost power brake system and Wilwood master
cylinder. It also features a new wiper motor and upgraded billet
hood hinges. The entire engine bay has been smoothed out and
beautifully painted for a clean, custom appearance. Everything is
neatly installed and highly detailed. This is one impressive engine
compartment that combines modern LS performance with show quality
presentation!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's been completely customized with a matching
TMI boxed enclosure, carrying the same striking orange and black
theme from the interior right into the trunk, accented with chrome
trim. Behind the forward panel is a neatly concealed and relocated
Optima battery, along with a subwoofer and amplifier for the
upgraded sound system. The underside of the trunk lid and the jamb
are painted glossy black, and the weatherstrip has been replaced.
It's a beautifully finished trunk that looks like it belongs in a
show car!
UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted off the frame during the
restoration, and the results are impressive! The chassis is
finished in smooth gloss black, while the rock solid floors are
neatly coated in black chip guard, creating a nice contrast. The
suspension has been extensively upgraded with tubular control arms
front and back, along with adjustable coilover gas shocks for
improved handling and ride quality. The steering has been rebuilt
as well. Stopping power is equally impressive, thanks to Wilwood
drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four wheels, featuring red
calipers and massive 6-piston calipers up front. The emergency
brake is functional, too. A Pypes stainless steel dual exhaust
system delivers a great muscle car sound. The fuel system has also
been custom upgraded to accommodate the modern fuel injection.
Looking up at the motor, it's spotless and fitted with a high
torque starter. A 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission makes
highway cruising a pleasure, while the rugged 12-bolt rear end with
3.73 Positraction gears puts the power to the pavement.
