For Sale: 1967 Pontiac GTO in Sneek, the Netherlands

Vehicle Description

1967 PONTIAC GTO | 400 V8 | MUNCIE 4-SPEED | REGIMENTAL RED | FACTORY DOCUMENTED | 20,143 MILES

A correctly equipped 1967 GTO in Regimental Red with a Muncie 4-speed, backed by its Fisher body tag and billing history.

THE CAR
The 1967 GTO is the car that defined the muscle car era. Stacked headlights, chrome bumpers and those body lines are a big part of why collectors keep coming back to this generation. This one is finished in Regimental Red, one of the most striking colors Pontiac offered in 1967, over a black bucket seat interior, with a Muncie M20 4-speed on the floor. It is the correct combination for a car like this.

We know this car well. We sold it previously and serviced it during the previous owner’s time with it. Now it is back in our showroom, freshly inspected and ready for its next chapter.

The car is fully documented. The Fisher body tag and billing history confirm the factory specification, and the VIN decodes correctly to a genuine 1967 GTO hardtop coupe, built in Baltimore on March 31, 1967. The cowl tag shows color R2, trim 224 and body style 24217, and a 1967 Pontiac billing history document is present.

EXTERIOR
The Regimental Red paint has good shine and the body is straight. The stacked quad headlights, GTO grille, chrome bumpers and full-length body side moldings are all in good condition. The car sits on Pontiac Rally II wheels with redline tires, which suit it perfectly.

INTERIOR
The black interior presents very well, and black over red is a classic combination that this car wears naturally. You get black bucket seats with a floor console, the Muncie 4-speed shifter, woodgrain dash and console trim, a Rally gauge cluster with round instruments, power steering, and original-style seat belts.

DRIVETRAIN

  • Engine: Pontiac 400 V8, 4-barrel carburetor
  • Transmission: Muncie M20 wide-ratio 4-speed manual, floor shifter with console
  • Rear axle: correct semi-floating hypoid unit
  • Power steering

The engine is the correct 400 cubic inch Pontiac V8. It runs well, pulls strongly and sounds exactly as a big-block Pontiac should.

UNDERCARRIAGE
The underside is in solid condition, and the car has been properly maintained during its time with us and the previous owner. Before delivery we perform a full inspection so the car drives properly from day one.
