This is an extremely well sorted low mileage example in really good
condition. These VW Vanagon campers were the original "Bug Out"
vehicle combining everyday use capability along with a full self
containment camping experience. The amount of well thought out
storage in these units is unbelievable. The Vanagon is the third
generation of the Type 2 or "Bus" as they are commonly called, and
the Westfalia partnership started way back in 1951 and lasted 50
years until1951 when Daimler Chrysler acquired the German
outfitter. This particular Westy is one of the nicest ones I have
had the pleasure of selling. Not only is the exterior and interior
condition in excellent shape, the Van comes with everything you
need and has all of its original features and equipment down to the
screens, it also comes with some optional equipment as well like a
dual input DC charger, upgraded speakers, a Fiamma exterior awning
and a solar charging station that plugs directly into the van. I am
sure there are some things that I have missed. If you are at all
interested in entering the Westy life, this is for sure one you
need to take a look at. This Van runs, idles, shifts and goes down
the road very nicely with no known needs. We welcome any questions
or inpsections here in our Traverse City location.
