This 1989 Morgan Plus 8 was ordered new by its current owner and is finished in Westminster Green over tan leather. The left-hand-drive roadster is powered by a turbocharged Rover V8 configured to run on propane and paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Approximately 11,353 miles are reported, and the car has remained with its original owner since new. Service records dating from new accompany the vehicle.
Both the turbocharger installation and propane conversion were performed by Bill Fink of Isis Imports in San Francisco before the car was first delivered to the owner. According to the seller, the propane conversion was required for California emissions compliance at the time. The car arrived more than six months after being ordered from the UK and was delivered by covered flatbed to the owner in Newport Beach, California.
The Westminster Green bodywork is complemented by tan upholstery and alloy wheels. The car is offered with disclosed cosmetic and functional imperfections. The right-front fender was previously damaged and repaired, and a paint blemish remains near the right taillight. These areas are shown in the accompanying photographs.
The cabin features tan leather upholstery and a five-speed manual shifter. The fuel gauge fluctuates, and the ignition key can occasionally be difficult to remove. The rubber brake-pedal cover requires reattachment and is included with the car.
The turbocharged Rover V8 retains its propane-fueled configuration. Service records from new document the car’s maintenance history. No undocumented horsepower or boost-pressure figures are claimed.
Historical California emissions records include a January 2004 Gross Polluter designation. The car successfully passed a California smog inspection in early October 2026; the inspection report will be supplied for review alongside the historical emissions documentation.
The photographs were taken on May 14, 2026, and there have been no changes to the vehicle’s condition since then.
