This 1977 Ford F150 Custom is a super cool truck and a unique find.
This is a 1 Owner Montana truck still on the original title and we
have the original build sheet and a Marti Report. The only reason
we were able to purchase the truck is because the owner passed
away. This truck is a Custom but was ordered with 2 Tone paint and
the body trim package. When the owner got sick around 10 years ago
he stored the truck on blocks. When he died a year ago or so the
family took the truck out of storage and went through everything to
get the truck back on the road. The body is super clean and
straight. It was repainted at some point in its original color of
Wimbledon White and Candy Apple Red. The paint looks great!! All of
the original chrome and trim is also really nice. It did receive a
new windshield recently. The under side is also super clean and
solid still showing the original factory undercoating. It is all
original and we found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also very nice and original. The seat, rubber floor
mat, door panels, dash pad, dash bezel, and headliner are all
original and nice. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and
turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The horn
(aftermarket button), heat, and windshield wipers are also
working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great!!
The original 351M V8 engine was replaced with a rebuilt 400M V8 in
2005 and was driven very little since (maybe 5,000 miles). We have
a receipt for the work. The engine runs strong with no issues or
red flags that we found. It has an aluminum Edelbrock intake and
Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb. The transmission is the np435 4 Speed
Manual that shifts great with a strong clutch. The clutch was
replaced the same time the engine was done. It is mated to the
np205 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle
is a Ford 9 Inch with 3.50 gears. The front axle is a Dana 44 with
3.50 gears. This is all sitting on brand new aftermarket aluminum
wheels with new 32 Inch All terrain tires.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
