This 1957 Continental Mark II is a beautiful, restored example
finished in Light Green over a two-tone Green leather interior and
is in overall excellent condition! With only 444 produced in 1957,
this is a rare Mark II, especially in its condition, having been
restored in 2008 and showing 53,000 miles. The key features that
separate this Mark II from others are its A/C, automatic headlight
dimmer, and original color specifications. This Mark II is a
beautiful example that is ready for shows and tours! The
Continental Mark II was produced by Fords short-lived Continental
Division for just two model years, 2,550 in 1956 and 444 in 1957.
These were largely hand-assembled and sold at a deliberate loss as
Fords worldwide flagship, placing it directly above Cadillac and
Packard in intent and price. This Mark II has a serial number
ending in 3947, placing it within the last 50 Mark IIs produced.
The Continental was originally sold by Park Motor Sales in New York
with factory A/C and special-order paint. This Mark II was featured
in the John and Isabell Fischer Vintage Lincoln Collection of
Essex, Maryland. The Fischers acquired the Continental in 2007 from
O.C. Welch Ford Lincoln Mercury and sold it in 2025. The Mark II
quickly passed to the current owner in Arizona, who is a Lincoln
enthusiast and collector. The Mark II was fully restored in 2008
and presents in excellent overall condition. It is finished in
paint code 20, Light Green Iridescent. Chrome and brightwork
throughout are in excellent overall condition. The Mark II features
wheel covers, whitewalls, and a spare in the Continental trunk.
This Mark II is in overall excellent condition and is ready to be
enjoyed! The interior is finished in trim code 1C2D two-tone green
leather and presents in excellent overall condition. The trim has
Light Green seat biscuits, Medium Green bolsters, and Light Green
welts. The carpet is in great condition. The Mark II has power
windows that function well. The dashboard gauges are all
functioning, including the speedometer, tachometer, engine
temperature, oil pressure, ammeter, and fuel gauge. Air
conditioning, heater, defrost, fan, and vents are all functioning.
The clock and radio are not functioning. The interior is in overall
excellent condition! The Mark II has the 368ci V8 with a
four-barrel carburetor, paired with three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and power brakes. Brakes are drum
front and rear. The Mark II was serviced at Purmotive in
