Of the mere 80 examples produced, this 2019 Koenigsegg Regera is
the only documented car finished in One Shade Darker Candy Apple
Red. As its name implies, this $45,000 Bespoke finish is a subtly
deeper iteration of the vibrant Candy Apple Red shade adorning
several other examples. Chassis number 7226's one-off finish is
complemented by Jet Black stripes along with Clear Carbon exterior
trim elements and Polished Carbon wing mirrors. Its exterior is
further enhanced with the $57,000 Tresex AirCore carbon wheels and
the $285,000 Ghost Package-the coveted high-downforce aerodynamic
upgrade that enhances the Regera with rear carbon fiber winglets
and a new lip spoiler. These are preferred in helping to manage the
Regera's twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter hybrid V8, which has been
equipped with the $250,000 Environmental Power Upgrade that unlocks
the ability to produce a mind-blowing 1,757 horsepower when running
E85 biofuel, which is delivered to the rear wheels via the Regera's
ingenious Direct Drive single-speed transmission.
Regera number 7226's cockpit has been crafted to mirror its
paintwork, featuring a delightful Bespoke two-tone red and black
arrangement. Lingonberry leather envelops the outer seat
upholstery, dashboard, steering wheel grips, and contrast
stitching; surrounding Desiato (black) quilted leather seat centers
and carpets plus Desiato lettering on the seats and dashboard.
Polished Carbon and Black/Natural Aluminum trim covers the
remaining elements in the Regera's striking cockpit. This extensive
selection of bespoke appointments, when combined with the car's
arsenal of desirable upgrade packages, bring the total cost of
options alone to nearly $750,000 on the accompanying build
sheet.
Such was this lavish and unique specification that the Regera was
affectionally and unofficially nicknamed "Elegua"-named for deity
known as the master of the crossroads from the culture of the
Yoruba.
A left-hand drive U.S.-specification example, chassis 7226 was
delivered new in January 2020 to Koenigsegg Manhattan according to
its clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report. Subsequently sold to its
first owner that May, the Regera disappeared into private collector
ownership in New York. According to its entry in the seminal Egg
Registry, the car made its first public appearance at the
prestigious The Bridge in Long Island in September 2022 among an
intoxicating selection of rare collector cars. The Regera was
purchased by its second owner in December 2024 and moved to
Sacramento, California, before it was acquired by its most recent
private owner in Florida the following August. Meticulous services
are reported from new through authorized Koenigsegg dealerships,
most recently in August 2026 by West Broward Imports/Koenigsegg
Florida where it received its annual service and inspection, with
3,099 miles shown at time of service.
Offered now with just 3,106 miles at cataloging, it takes just one
glance at chassis 7226's singular specification to conclude that it
is a standout example of Koenigsegg's inaugural yet avant-garde
hybrid megacar, eminently worthy of induction into the world's
finest collections of equally-rare and bespoke hypercars.
