This 1952 Ford F1 Pickup is a beautiful truck that was frame-off
restored around 5 years ago or so. This is a quality restoration
that has just over 1,000 miles on it. The odometer shows only 39
miles because the previous owner could not figure out how to get
the speedo programmed). It was restored to stock specifications and
has a 239 V8. The body on this truck is super clean and straight.
It is all metal except fro the front fenders and running boards
which are fiberglass. The original color of this truck was
SandPiper Tan. When it was restored the truck was stripped to bare
metal and the front fenders replaced. It was then professionally
painted a beautiful Deep Green metallic color and the paint looks
awesome. All of the chrome and trim was either restored or replaced
with new. The glass was all replaced with new window seals and it
received new door seals, rubbers, etc when restored as well. The
bed was redone with new wood and metal strips. The underside was
also all redone when restored and is excellent.
The interior was also restored. The inside of the cab was also
painted. The seat was reupholstered, it received a new rubber floor
mat, new headliner, new dual sun visors, and new aftermarket
gauges. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals
are all working. The gauges all work. The horn and windshield
wipers work. This truck was apparently ordered without a
heater.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
wonderful. The 239 Flathead V8 starts easy and runs excellent with
no issues or red flags that we found. It is a pleasure to drive.
The engine is stock except for the upgraded heads (ABA) that give
it higher compression and more power. It does have aftermarket cast
iron headers with dual exhaust that sounds nice. It has been
converted to a 12 Volt system which is nice. The transmission is
the Borg warner T-86 3 Speed manual that shifts really nice with a
strong clutch. The rear axle is a Dana 41 with 3.92 gears. The
truck also has a new wiring harness and all new lights and they
also added turn signals. It is sitting on beautifully restored
wheels and hubcaps with brand new tires size 215/85/16.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
