This 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super combines one of Chevrolet's
most desirable pickup designs with a strong small-block drivetrain,
factory-style luxury appointments and a carefully selected
collection of modern upgrades.
Finished in a vivid red exterior, the truck presents with excellent
visual impact. Its squared-off body lines are complemented by
extensive bright trim, Cheyenne Super badging and
woodgrain-accented side moldings. A steel Goodmark cowl-induction
hood gives the front end additional muscle without compromising the
truck's classic character.
Under the hood is a GM ZZ4 350ci crate V8 equipped with aluminum
angle-plug cylinder heads, a Chevrolet Bowtie aluminum intake and
an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. Power is sent through a
durable Turbo 400 automatic transmission and into a rare GM 12-bolt
rear end.
The engine compartment is detailed in matching red and includes
polished accessories, power steering and a Vintage air-conditioning
system. Long-tube headers feed a dual exhaust system equipped with
Flowmaster mufflers, giving the small-block the tone expected from
a properly built classic Chevrolet pickup.
A Belltech lowering kit provides the truck with its aggressive
stance while retaining a street-friendly presentation. Polished
20-inch Billet Specialties wheels are wrapped in staggered tires
measuring 245/50ZR20 at the front and 265/50ZR20 at the rear. Power
front disc brakes provide additional stopping confidence.
Inside, the monochromatic red cabin is one of this truck's most
distinctive features. Rare factory bucket seats feature decorative
embossed inserts and are separated by the desirable factory center
console with integrated storage and cupholders. The cabin also
includes a rare factory tachometer, tilt steering column,
rosewood-style steering wheel, woodgrain dash and glovebox trim,
air conditioning and a Kenwood stereo system.
The cargo bed is finished in matching glossy red and presents
cleanly from the bed floor to the inner fenders and surrounding
panels. Underbody photographs show the 12-bolt rear axle, dual
exhaust, lowered suspension and clean painted underside of the
bed.
With its ZZ4 crate engine, Turbo 400 transmission, Cheyenne Super
trim, factory bucket-seat interior and tasteful lowered stance,
this 1972 Chevrolet C10 delivers a well-balanced combination of
classic pickup styling, V8 performance and modern cruising
comfort.
