"For 2012, the Chevy Camaro puts out 11 more horsepower than the
2011 model. The Camaro's 3.6 liter V6 engine now produces 323
horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 278 pound feet of torque at 4,800 rpm.
According to the EPA, the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro gets 19 mpg in the
city and 30 mpg on the highway with an automatic transmission,
while 6-speed manual Camaros get 17/28 mpg city/highway."

For consignment, a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT RS coupe with a title
verified 115,575 actual miles. This has all the appeal of the Gen 3
Camaro and a powerful V6 power plant under the hood. All the fun
and better gas mileage too!
Note: This vehicle is sold with a Pennsylvania reconstructed
branding on the title
Exterior
Bold and new, the 3rd generation Camaro didn't borrow from the
previous generation, instead reaching back to first gen for
inspiration and adjusted proportions for the modern age. Here in
Imperial Blue that covers nearly every inch including the bumper
covers, the door handles, and the side mirrors. Black accents
include the grille, fog light bezels, and rear splitter and
metallic cues are found only in the 20-inch wheels, Bowtie emblem,
side nameplates, and taillight bezels, all in great condition.
Performance throwbacks include the faux louvers on the rear quarter
panel borrowed from the '69, and the dual exhaust which tuck into
the splitter valance. Reverse lights are embedded in the rear
bumper and a shark fin antenna rises from the roof. Our staggered
size tires have a mid 2024 date code in front and a mid 2022 date
code in back. Imperfections include curb rash and flaking wheel
paint, chips, dull surface on the spoiler and decklid, bubbling on
the A-pillar, scratches, inclusions, rock spray, peeling clear,
scuffs, and chin scrapes.
Interior
Black molded plastic door panels with cloth inserts dress the doors
with clean lines and logical ergonomics, both showing a touch of
age but intact. The supportive sport seats are the same you'd find
in higher trim levels only these have smooth two tone cloth
coverings. The driver's entry point shows a bit of wear and there
is a tear in the lower cushion. The rear 2+2 seats and passenger
bucket are in nice shape. A steering wheel that is ergonomic to the
hands presents to the driver and the twin gauge pod surrounds a
digital screen that provides information beyond the speed and RPMs.
The center stack is where we find another screen that provides
information and relays settings on the AM/FM/CD while a tidy
shifter is in the center console and molded plastic finishes to
create cup holders and a storage bin. Low pile black carpet is in
great shape as is the charcoal, cloth covered molded headliner
around the sunroof, while gray flannel lines the trunk and decklid,
also clean with some evidence of use as told by the plastic
sidewalls.
Drivetrain
Large plastic shrouds keep the engine bay clean, as it is here and
housing the 3.6 liter VVT LFX V6 electronically fuel injected
engine rated at 323 horsepower. A 6L50E 6-speed automatic
transmission sends power to the rear where it meets 2.73 gears.
Undercarriage
Typical patina but otherwise clean and dry with no leaking or
residual oil anywhere, intact rubber boots and no grease build up.
The dual exhaust travels through original equipment mufflers and
then through chrome tips tucked out back. Macpherson struts are up
front while 4.5 link independent suspension with coil springs is
out back. Power disc brakes are found on all four wheels.
Drive-Ability
We settle into the interior which envelopes riders with robust
seats, beefy controls, and seemingly all the airbags available in
2012. A gentle rumble is expressed through the gas pedal and the
car is every bit as grounded and surefooted as you'd expect with
plenty of power on hand. The horn is not working and a Service Tire
Monitor System light is on, but all other functions on this well
loved pony car still operate as intended. While Classic Auto Mall
represents that these functions were working at the time of our
test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at
the time of your purchase.
Daily commutes or weekend rides just got a bit more interesting
when you pick up this Camaro, wonderfully preserved and functional.
This is a modern RS with all the great eye appeal bestowed on
modern Camaros.
