The 1967 Ford Mustang was part of the first generation of Mustangs, which helped establish the pony car segment following the model's introduction in 1964. For 1967, Ford gave the Mustang a larger and more muscular appearance, with a wider body, revised styling, and additional room for performance-oriented powertrains. The Fastback body style became especially popular among enthusiasts thanks to its sweeping roofline and sporty profile. The 289 cubic inch V8 remained a desirable engine choice, offering a strong balance of performance and everyday drivability. Today, the 1967 Mustang Fastback is highly sought after by classic car enthusiasts for its iconic styling, V8 performance, and important place in American automotive history.
