Body and the 283 V8 engine totally rebuilt by well known Massachusetts restorers. The Powerglide automatic transmission more recently rebuilt by it's current owner. This car looks better than even the pictures portray. A super solid and straight body in Ermine White with a red cloth bench seat interior. The convertible top is black and we believe is ORIGINAL! Still in great condition. It's power operated. As is the steering and brakes. A fantastic cruiser and show car. The undercarriage is as clean as the upside. You will not be disappointed. Just a beautiful example of a 1966 Impala. An iconic nameplate.
Besides the recent transmission rebuid you will also find a fully rebuilt rear suspesion and electronic ignition with a PerTronics set up. Also, the Chevy rally wheels and tires are super recent too. The restoration and updates since equal up to over $50K in repairs. As I say so often, don't restore. Buy them done and this is the poster child. If you are looking for a turn key, not problem classic car, this is the one. Trust me, I know. Buying one for less will cost you more in the end.
