Unveiled in 2006, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640-4 Roadster
transformed the facelifted LP640-4 Coupe into an all-encompassing,
open-air roadster experience. The Roadster received the same
arsenal of aesthetic and performance upgrades as its hard-top
counterpart, yet it stood apart with its removable soft top and an
asymmetrical, driver-focused cockpit.
This 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640-4 Roadster is finished in
striking Arancio Atlas. The interior is a brilliant two-tone
arrangement of Nero Perseus leather and trim with Arancio Leone
inserts and Arancio contrast stitching. The Murcielago has been
additionally optioned with the exposed carbon fiber window
deflectors, carbon fiber engine brace and carbon fiber interior
trim that adorns the center console, instrument binnacle surround,
steering wheel, shift paddles, and more.
One of only 223 U.S-market examples equipped with the e-Gear
automatic transmission, this Murcielago LP640-4 Roadster was first
registered in Newport Beach, California according to its clean
CARFAX Vehicle History Report. In April 2010, the car was imported
to British Columbia and remained there through a small, documented
trail of caretakers until returning Stateside earlier this
year.
Upon reentry to the U.S., the Murcielago received a comprehensive
service from Lamborghini Seattle/ Fields Motorcars Bellevue in May
2026, which included an oil change and both a transmission and
brake fluid flush. Ultimately settling in Florida, the Murcielago
had its clutch replaced, new OEM battery installed, and remaining
fluids refreshed by exotic car specialists Excell Racing this past
August.
Today, this vibrant 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640-4 Roadster is
offered with only 6,015 miles at cataloging and is furnished with
its owner's manual, soft top cover and associated soft top
components, and a branded car cover. It has also notably been
fitted with a Kreissieg exhaust system to further sharpen the wail
of the LP640's naturally-aspirated V12. Resplendent in its Arancio
Atlas factory livery-which the consignor reports is completely
covered with Paint Protection Film-this LP640-4 Roadster perfectly
expresses the design language that Lamborghini's in-house design
team wished to showcase; indeed, the original Murcielago's launch
color was a complementary shade of Arancio. This is a
collector-grade, low mileage example that will stand out in any
collection of exceptional supercars.
